Braille typeface is an experimental project designed to emulate different fonts for individuals who are visually impaired. Our goal with this project was to examine what ‘font’ means to visually impaired people, and what can we do to ensure that they can have ‘font experience’ to enjoy same as normal people. Several rounds of testing and trials were performed with Korea Association for the Blind in order to find the most accurate forms that express different feelings to match Bold, Italic, Bold italic, and many other enjoyable font experience to them.
