Bollard is an experimental project in which public furniture meets human scale. The goal of the project was to define different height segments and corresponding behaviors in those height segments to provide flat surfaces for quick sitting, leaning, or even a tray for putting small items on. Using Le Corbusier's human scale system and various public objects that people carry between spaces, different height segments are studied in relation to human behavior.
